For the U17s, the package rises to 4 million FCFA per player, including 2 million in scholarships, insurance, the iPad, and 2 million in cash.
FSF president Abdoulaye Fall called the gesture vital during the awards ceremony. “Long-term work has paid off,” he said, praising former technical director Mayacine Mar for building youth structures. He urged his successor, Souleymane Diallo, to keep pushing Senegal to the top of African youth football.
